1. FEM General Viewing

  • Open a Nastran file
  • View navigation: move, rotate, zoom
  • Change views: wiremesh, perspective

3. Create a CG Data File

4. Create Whiffletree (Basic)

  • Open FEM file and Read CG data
  • Set a basic information
  • Create whiffletree (connect, move, warning length)
  • Save whiffletree (.wtr) file
  • Delete whiffletree
  • Delete a CG points
  • Delete all whiffletree
  • Read whiffletree (.wtr) file


5. Create Whiffletree (Advanced)

  • Use of Edit Window
  • Split a point
  • Move two points together
  • Move one point
  • Forget split


6. Showing Whiffletree Diagram

  • Open FEM and WTR file, then show diagram
  • Basic functions in whiffletree diagram windows
  • Check whiffletree completeness
  • Adjust window size for high-density whiffletree diagram


7. Use of Material Data

  • Check materials in whiffletree diagram
  • Add a new material
  • Auto-calculate or manual enter allowable
  • Save material file
  • Open previously saved material file (.mtl)
  • Set Yes/No for materials


8. Export to Other Software

  • Capture Images
  • Export to Word
